Our GapYear Program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery has successfully helped many future doctors in the period between college and medical or dental school. Students have had the opportunity to gain real-time clinical experience as surgical assistants with one-on-one mentorship and tutoring. We offer both one-year (14-month) and two-year (26-month) options. Funding for the clinical assistantships allow these postbaccalaureate, premedical or pre-dental students to support themselves while learning. Our attending clinicians evaluate applications, hold mock interviews, and support the chosen applicants throughout their time with us. Our offices are located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, a short drive from the Boston Metropolitan area.
